MODISE SEFUME

Profile

Modise Sefume is the founder of Sefume Attorneys and an admitted attorney who specializes in commercial law, litigation, sports, media and entertainment law.
Modise has a keen interest in the sports, media and entertainment industries and has represented some of the country’s premier athletes and personalities as well as negotiating player’s contracts across the Pro14, SuperRugby, PSL leagues as well as international contracts in Sweden, USA and in the UAE.
Modise is currently studying towards his masters in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Pretoria in order to further service clients in specialized industries. Over the past years, Modise has attended to advising on a wide variety of productions of local television and has become well versed in all areas of commercial law.
Modise has a traditional commercial law and litigation background and services a number of commercial Clients, wherein he advices on and assists the respective Clients with their commercial needs. Modise is a hardened litigant with an array of matters in the superior courts.
Outside of practice, Modise serves on the board of St Peters College and the Thoroughbred Breeders Education Trust.
